‘Dreadful’… Gabriel Agbonlahor destroys £35m Chelsea player after performance vs Liverpool
Chelsea’s Benoit Badiashile put in a “dreadful” performance during yesterday’s heavy loss away at Liverpool.
That is according to talkSPORT pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor.
Despite going into last night’s match in some good form, Chelsea were thrashed 41 by Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League.
The bad news is that the clubs meet again on 25 February in the Carabao Cup final, too.
It was a really poor evening for most of Chelsea’s players, including Benoit Badiashile.
The 22yearold defender was bullied against Liverpool and made some notable mistakes in a really sloppy display.

“Chelsea look like they don’t care if they lose. That was what I got from last night. They were that bad that they didn’t look like they cared about losing,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT (6:09am, 1 February).
“Badiashile, the centrehalf, he probably had the worst centrehalf performance I’ve seen in the Premier League in the last two seasons. He was dreadful.”

We worry for Badiashile’s spot in starting lineup based off the latest performance in midweek.
Speaking via talkSPORT last night, Jamie O’Hara labelled Badiashile as “nowhere near good enough” following the Liverpool defeat.
The leftfooted centrehalf excelled during his first few months as a Chelsea player at the start of 2023, but he’s not looked like the same player since returning from a hamstring injury.
Our feeling is that he’s drastically slipping down the centreback pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
