West Ham now in talks to sign 6ft 2in Senegal star on deadline day
West Ham United are now thought to be in talks to sign Le Havre centreback Arouna Sangante on deadline day.
Deadline day is now upon us and West Ham boss David Moyes is still trying to get at least one more signing sealed, with talks now underway to bring Senegalese youngster Sangante to the London Stadium.
The January transfer window has been a challenging one for the Hammers, with Kalvin Phillips the only player to have arrived thus far.
And now with the clock ticking down towards tonight’s 11pm deadline, Moyes is making a desperate dash to add further reinforcements.

The 21yearold has been a standout performer for Le Havre this season, and his dominant performances have been drawing attention from all around the continent.

In 16 Ligue 1 appearances for Le Havre this term, Sangante has averaged 1.9 tackles, 2.5 interceptions, 2.9 clearances and 1.9 successful aerial duels per game (Who Scored).
Standing at 6ft 2in tall, the Senegalese starlet is very strong in the air, but he’s quick along the ground and tenacious in the tackle as well.
Arouna Sangante seems to be perfectly built for the robust nature and intense speed of Premier league football.
